About Us

Te Hera – The Sail

Aeotearoa/ New Zealand is a nation of migrants. Our forbears, both Maori and Pakeha, often undertook heroic voyages in difficult conditions to reach these shores. From this we take inspiration and Te Hera - the sail represents these journeys.

Our vineyard and winery are located in Te Muna Rd, Martinborough. Te Hera was the first commercial vineyard planted in Te Muna Road and we are pleased to see our decision has been endorsed by the number of high-profile neighbours establishing themselves around us.
